Quick summary: same ticker, same day — a $1,930 win and a $1,492 loss, hours apart. The verified record shows they were actually two legs of the same put credit spread, not two unrelated bets. This episode covers August 1–20, the full period the verified trade journal currently supports (the journal doesn't yet have entries past August 20 — the account has real activity after that date, it just isn't logged with full detail yet).
| Metric | Verified result |
|---|---|
| Period | August 1–20, 2026 |
| Closed trades | 37 |
| Win rate | 59.46% (22W / 15L) |
| Net realized | +$5,688.52 |

| Largest single loss | −$1,492, SOXL |
| July 14–August 20 net realized | +$8,649.02 |
These figures were cross-checked three independent ways — a manual reconciliation and two separate AI recomputations directly against the source trade journal — and all three agree to the penny.
The Anchor Story: August 7th
On August 3rd, two SOXL put positions were opened: a short $114 put and a long $109 put, both expiring August 7th — a put credit spread. On August 7th, both legs expired worthless: the short leg (collected as premium) realized +$1,930, and the long leg (paid as premium) realized −$1,492. Net result of the two legs together: +$438.
Posted separately, either leg tells a misleading story — the win alone looks like a lucky call, the loss alone looks like a bad one. Together, they're one defined-risk trade that worked.
Other Trades That Mattered
- NVDA, +$1,365 (Aug 3–5) — a $205 call, entry $3.55, exit $17.20. The standout winner of the period, though NVDA wasn't a clean run — earlier losses of $530 and $257 sit in the same stretch.
- GOOGL, −$1,170 / −$606 / −$315 (all closing Aug 20) — three of the five largest losses in the period, all in the same name, same day.
What the Screenshot Would Leave Out
A highlight-reel version of August shows the $1,930 SOXL win and the $1,365 NVDA trade, then stops. It leaves out the $1,492 loss sitting hours away from that win, the repeated GOOGL losses, and the NVDA losses surrounding its own best trade. Every one of those is shown here, same as the wins.
The Record Continues
From July 14th through August 20th: net realized +$8,649.02. The record from August 21st onward is real — it's just still being added to the verified journal. The next episode picks up there once it is.
